Saturday July 15th at 2:00 come and give improv a try with professional actors. Be prepared to laugh, A LOT!

Scrapbooking Workshop June 17, 2006

Starting July 6th, we will be having a scrapbooking workshop every Thursday 6:30-8:30. Bring your photographs and scrapbooking materials and tools. If you don’t have any materials or tools, you can buy them from Susann at the workshop.
This is a great way to organize your memories and share your photos with new friends.
Come check it out even if you are not sure… It’s free to come!

The “Books: A Treasure” Summer Reading Club live Pirate show date has been changed!
The June 24th show is cancelled. The performers were unable to make that date.
The new date is July 15th at 11:00. But you must register for this event due to overwhelming response! Stop by the children’s desk when you come in to register for the summer reading club.

Summer Reading Club sign up time June 1, 2006

This year’s summer reading club theme is Books: A Treasure!
Children who report books they have read (or have listened to) during the summer vacation will receive prizes and an invitation to the celebration in August.
Ages 2-8 receive a prize for every 4 picture books read, up to 20 books total.
Ages 9-12 receive a prize for every 2 chapter books read, up to 10 books total.
The teen summer reading club information will be available on their blog soon.
Sign up begins on June 14th. No sign ups or reporting 1/2 hour before closing time each day. And don’t miss our kick off party on June 24th at 11:00!!!!
