Story, Songs and Playtime: Thursdays 11:00-12:00. For Babies and Toddlers. No sign up required, just drop by!
There will be no Story, Songs and Playtime on March 29th. Please stop in anyway to visit with friends and enjoy our children’s department.
Craft Time: Fridays 4:00-4:30. For ages 3 and up. Young children may need extra help form adult caregivers for some crafts. No sign up necessary.

So You Think You Want to Become a Vegetarian? & What to Do With Tofu
Create whole wheat pasta with “neatballs” and fresh tomato sauce. Learn how to make healthy food choices, even in school luch period. Find out how Tofu is made, different types and when to use them. Taste spicy BBQ tofu, salad with tofu croutons, and chocolate mousse! Yum! Presented by The Passionate Palate. Saturday, February 10th 1:00-3:00 with 15 min. break. For ages 12 and up; interested parents welcome to join in, too! Please register in advance.

Music Time for Toddlers with Leah Oppenheimer. For ages 1-3. Wednesdays at 10:30, Jan. 31, Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28. Please register in advance at the children’s desk.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Chocolate Covered Everything! Dip pretzels, marshmallows, candies, and more into warm liquid chocolate. Take your delicious treats home in a bakery box you decorate yourself. Presented by The Baking Coach. Saturday, January 20th, 2:00-3:00. For ages 6 and up. Parents must stay in library. Please register in advance.
Unearthing Ancient Egyptian Scrolls & The Fast Food of Ancient Egypt. Experience the ancient art of paper making using plant materials. Create your very own “scroll” to keep. Discuss the amazing culture and history of Egypt. Learn how the Egyptians used make-up! An Egyptian recipe will be prepared and shared. Make you own good luck charm to keep. Presented by The Passionate Palate. Saturday, February 17th, 1:00-3:00 with 15 min. break. For ages 6 and up. Parents must stay in library. Please register in advance.

Gingerbread House Decorating: Thursday Dec. 21st at 4:00. For ages 8 & up. Please call and register 725-0049 ext. 22.
Family Movie Night featuring The Polar Express: Friday Dec. 22nd at 6:30. Surprises and Treats for kids. Wear PJ’s and Bring Blankets. Doors open at 6:15. Parents must accompany child.
Christmas Karaoke: Saturday Dec. 23rd at 2:00. For ages 3 & up.

On Friday, October 27th we will show Over the Hedge on the big screen in stereo. Free of Charge. Rated PG. Movie starts at 6:30, doors open at 6:15. Anyone under 12 must be with an adult.
